Because crash dumps are an emergency measure it is not uncommon for this to happen, however often it points to a problem in the storage stack. I shutdown again and then it did the update without asking for the install media. It gave a similar message about rebooting and putting the install media in after I got into windows. I shutdown and then booted up with the install media launching from the Boot menu and tried to upgrade. I tried to upgrade and it acted like I had the install media in and wanted me to reboot and put in the install media after I got to Windows screen. Windows 10 had a pending restart for a Microsoft Edge update and when the computer restarted it acted like when I had the prior update for 2004 where it went to the purple install screen that gives you a choice to upgrade or do a fresh install. I tried the TDSSKiller and then the computer gave a blue screen error (This is the first blue screen I've ever seen in Windows 10 in over 2.5 years of usage). Thanks for letting me know about the Intel driver issue. When it finishes click on Report in the upper right and copy and paste the text into a reply.
Save it to your desktop then run it by right click on TDSSKiller.exe and Run As Admin.

I don't think you have TDSS but the output lists all of the drivers in use which might be useful: The one you have appears to be a bit newer that Intel's. Looking at your Video there is a final EOL driver for it but it only claims to support Win 8 and that only as an after thought. Unfortunately the intel stuff in your PC was declared End Of Life about the time Win 8 came out. I think your problem is the intel driver. Interesting that the only drives you have that come close to the same percentage are both Western Digital. Pretty sure it's only running at USB 2.1 speed so equivalent to what you have. Probably because the USB SATA adapter I use is transparent and reports the drive type directly. The test does not pick up that it's a USB connected drive. I only have the one USB connected drive (the 2 TB WD).
